Transitional Programming

The Starting Point Transitional Living Program provides additional support for women and their children moving toward living on their own, free from abuse. Families may be in the program utilizing additional support for 12–18 months.

Services provided include weekly casework/advocacy, counseling, individual/family advocacy, life-skills development and referrals programs and organizations including job related educational programs.

Both Safe House/Shelter residents and non-resident service recipients are eligible for consideration in the program. Additionally, financial assistance (for emergency needs) may be available.
