Won't you consider making a gift in honor or in memory of a very special woman inyour life for Mother's Day? Memorial Gift or Tribute: These gifts can be made in honor of a birthday, anniversary or any special occasion. The honoree will be notified of your gift. Planned Giving: Designate Turning Point of Lehigh Valley to receive a gift in your will or be the beneficiary of your planned giving. This may be in the form of a specific amount of cash, securities or property, or a percentage of the remainder of your estate, or trust. Talk to your lawyer or financial planner regarding the tax benefits. Life Insurance as a Charitable Gift: Donate an existing policy that you have on yourself and receive a tax deduction. Or, donate an annual tax-deductible gift and allow us to purchase a policy on your life. Alternatively, donate an annual tax-deductible gift to insure someone other than yourself. You may wish to discuss these options with your insurance agent. Funds: Your unrestricted gift allows us to use it where most needed to assure our services are available to all at no cost. However we will gladly accept donations designated for the Children's Program, Community Education, Transitional Housing, or Shelter. Used Cell Phones Needed Turning Point collects used cell phones to raise funds for our life saving programs.Our cell phone fund raising program is sponsored by Shelter Alliance, a program of cell phone recycling company GRC Wireless Recycling. Through Shelter Alliance, Nonprofit organizations raise funds through the collection and recycling of used cell phones, and businesses and consumers donate & recycle cell phones to benefit nonprofit participants. You can help by organizing a cell phone drive at your workplace or in your community. You can send the phones that you collect directly to Shelter Alliance, using pre-paid shipping labels. As the designated beneficiary, Turning Point will recieve a check from Shelter Alliance to support our life saving work on behalf of victims of domestic violence.
